Pomerape Volcano
Arica and Parinacota Region, Putre Commune
Volcano of 6,282 meters above sea level, located inside the Lauca National Park (biosphere reserve). It is part of the Nevados de Payachatas chain. Like Parinacota, Pomerape also rises above 6,000 meters, however, it presents greater technical difficulties, which makes it a challenge for more experienced mountain climbers.
