Metropolitan Region, Commune of Lo Barnechea
A classic mountain peak in the central Andes, highly recommended for training in high-altitude mountaineering, thanks to its 4,950 meters above sea level. This climb is a natural step before embarking on an expedition to Cerro El Plomo. If you are physically fit, you can climb it for the day. Otherwise, it is recommended to spend at least one night in the area called "Cancha de Carreras," located just beyond Cerro Pintor. The weather in this area is highly changeable, so be informed and alert at all times, as thunderstorms are common in the area.
