Pujsa salt flats

It is located in the Los Flamencos National Reserve, at 4,580 meters above sea level, 100 kilometers from San Pedro de Atacama, amidst a landscape marked by large volcanoes. The salt lakes, which cover an area of 17,000 hectares, are formed by groundwater upwellings, allowing for significant biodiversity, especially among flamingos and other migratory birds. It is included in the list of protected wetlands under the RAMSAR Convention.
