The Brickwork

This is one of the most famous spots in the Maule Region and takes its name from its brick-like surface. It is located within the Altos de Lircay National Reserve, the largest in the entire region (16,000 hectares). To reach it, you have to travel 20 kilometers, which can be done in one or more days. As you delve deeper into the forest, various tree species typical of this area appear, such as oak, lenga, and raulí.

Once you reach Enladrillado, at an altitude of 2,200 meters above sea level, you will have incredible views of the valley, the magnificent Andes Mountains, and its most characteristic volcanoes: Descabezado Grande, Cerro Azul, and Quizapú.

As a curious fact, many people say there are "UFO" (unidentified flying object) events in the area, which has attracted a large number of people interested in these phenomena.
