Araucanía Region, Commune of Villarrica
This is one of the lesser-known spots on the famous Villarrica Volcano, but one of the most spectacular. After a hike of approximately 3-4 hours, you'll reach a viewpoint (1,390 meters above sea level) that overlooks the west face of the volcano, as well as other volcanoes in the area, such as Lonquimay, Llaima, and Sierra Nevada. Along the way, you can see lava fields, forests of araucaria, lenga, and other Andean varieties native to the area. Highly recommended if you're looking for adventure!
