Tarapacá Region, Colchane Commune
This National Park, located in the highlands of the Tarapacá Region, takes its name from the iconic Isluga Volcano, which, at 5,550 meters above sea level, is a must-see destination for mountaineers and adventurers. The wildlife includes vicuñas, the suri, and the Andean tagua, as well as three types of flamingos. On the flora side, we find the llareta, which is said to have aphrodisiac properties. It is also possible to delve into Aymara culture by visiting the village of Isluga and its church, declared a national monument.
